Your Spiti Valley journey begins with an overnight Volvo bus from Kashmiri Gate, New Delhi to Shimla. The departure is scheduled between 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, so we recommend arriving in Delhi by 5:00 PM to avoid any last-minute rush.

After boarding the comfortable Volvo coach, relax and enjoy the scenic night drive through the Himalayan foothills. Overnight journey to Shimla.

We will arrive in Shimla in the morning and switch from the Volvo bus to a comfortable Tempo Traveller to begin our drive towards Sangla Valley.

Enjoy a scenic journey through winding mountain roads, lush forests, and charming Himachali villages before entering the beautiful Baspa Valley. Upon arrival in Sangla, check in to your accommodation and take in the breathtaking alpine surroundings. You’ll have time in the evening to explore the serene village, walk along the riverside, or simply relax amidst nature.

Dinner will be served at night. Overnight stay in Sangla Valley.

After breakfast, we will head to the picturesque village of Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. Explore the Baspa River bank, visit the Mathi Temple, and walk across the iconic Chitkul Bridge. For lunch, enjoy a meal at the world-famous “Hindustan Ka Akhri Dhaba” and savor authentic local flavors.

After exploring Chitkul and its stunning surroundings, we will drive to Kalpa, a charming village offering majestic views of Mount Kailash. On arrival, we will visit the famous Suicide Point for breathtaking panoramic views.

End the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Kalpa.

The next destination in your Spiti valley tour will be Tabo. However, to get there we will be visiting two more places along the way. The first is Nako lake, situated in Hangrang valley near the Indo-China border. 

We'll travel through the Hindustan Tibet Highway, we shall cross the Khab (Spiti and Satluj Rivers Convergence). The Khab Bridge provides views of the Leo Purygal Peak. We'll go into the Spiti Valley through Sumdo in the afternoon, following your lunch in Nako village.

Now we'll go to Geyu Village to see the 500-year-old Mummy, which is a popular tourist attraction. We'll arrive at Tabo village in the evening. Tabo is known for being India's and the Himalayas' oldest continually operating Buddhist enclave. Its walls are covered in paintings depicting stories from the Buddhist pantheon.

In Spiti, there will be a homestay, which is a terrific opportunity to meet locals and eat amazing homemade food.

After breakfast, we will visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, famously known as the “Ajanta of Himachal Pradesh” for its remarkably preserved murals, paintings, and sculptures that date back centuries.

Next, we will drive to Dhankar Village, the former capital of Spiti Valley. This captivating village is home to the historic Dhankar Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers. Take time to explore the monastery and enjoy the serene village surroundings.

By evening, we will continue our journey to Kaza, the cultural and administrative hub of Spiti Valley. After a fulfilling day, check-in, have dinner, and relax at your accommodation in Kaza.

Today is a full day of sightseeing in the heart of Spiti Valley. After breakfast, we will start with a visit to the world-famous Key Monastery, located 12 km from Kaza. This iconic monastery is perched atop a hill and offers panoramic views of the surrounding valley along with centuries-old murals and a peaceful monastic atmosphere.

Next, we proceed to Hikkim Village, home to the world’s highest post office and polling station. Don’t miss the chance to mail yourself a postcard as a memorable keepsake from your Spiti adventure.

From Hikkim, we continue to Langza, famous for its enormous Buddha Statue overlooking the village. Langza is divided into Langza Gongma (upper) and Langza Yongma (lower), and is perched at an altitude of 4,400 meters. Explore the mud dwellings, the historic monastery, and enjoy the breathtaking Himalayan backdrop.

Our next stop is Komik Village, the world’s highest motorable village at 15,027 feet. Here, we visit the Tangyud Monastery, admired for its fortress-like architecture with massive slanted mud walls and battlements.

By evening, we return to Kaza to relax, have dinner, and spend the night at your accommodation.

Today, we start our journey from Kaza to Sarahan, traveling through the breathtaking landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. The drive will take you through picturesque valleys, charming villages, and snow-capped peaks, giving you plenty of opportunities to pause and take in the beauty of the Himalayas. We will stop for lunch en route, surrounded by the serene mountain scenery.

By evening, we will reach Sarahan, a quaint and peaceful village. Settle into your accommodation, enjoy a comforting dinner, and relax for the night amidst the tranquil surroundings.

After breakfast, we will begin our journey from Sarahan to Shimla via Rampur, enjoying the scenic beauty of Himachal Pradesh along the way. The drive will take you through lush valleys, charming villages, and panoramic mountain views, giving you plenty of photo opportunities.

We will reach Shimla in the evening, the former summer capital of British India and a favorite hill station of travelers from across the globe. In the night, we will board the overnight Volvo bus to Delhi, concluding the journey with memories of the serene Himalayas and adventurous experiences from Spiti Valley.
