Spiti Adventure Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
20% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee if cancellation is made 30 days or more before the trip start date.
50% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee if cancellation is made 30 to 15 days before the trip start date.
100% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee if cancellation is made within 14 days of the trip start date.
General Terms & Policies
All guests must provide valid government-issued identification during check-in. Accepted ID proofs: Voter ID, Passport, Driving License. PAN card is not accepted.
Certain tours may have different policies based on season, itinerary, or region. Such policies will override the general terms mentioned here.
Spiti Adventure reserves the right to modify or update policies at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the website, brochures, or other available means.
Policy on Unforeseen Circumstances
Spiti Adventure cannot provide compensation or reimbursement for expenses or losses caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural calamities
Political disturbances
War or unrest
Epidemics
Flight cancellations or airport closures
Any other unforeseeable disaster
Guests are responsible for bearing the associated risks and expenses.
Guest Conduct & Responsibilities
Our goal is to offer you a safe and enjoyable experience. We request guests to:
Behave responsibly and respectfully toward fellow travelers
Avoid actions that may cause harm, discomfort, or property loss
Spiti Adventure reserves the right to terminate the trip for any guest engaging in unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful behavior, without compensation. If the guest is permitted to continue the trip, additional charges may be imposed for damages or disruptions caused. Alcohol consumption is permitted, but guests are responsible for any harm or injury resulting from it.
Medical Conditions & Facilities
Due to the high altitude and remote terrain:
Immediate medical assistance or evacuation may not be possible
Communication and transportation delays are expected
Common high-altitude symptoms may include: sleeplessness, nausea, vomiting, cough, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, gastrointestinal discomfort, or cerebral edema.
Guests are advised to:
Undergo a medical check-up before booking the trip
Obtain certification from a licensed physician
Disclose any pre-existing medical conditions
Spiti Adventure may request verification of medical certification prior to the trip. Guests will be responsible for all medical expenses incurred during the trip.
Guest Declaration
By joining a tour with Spiti Adventure, the guest confirms that:
They understand the risks associated with high-altitude travel, trekking, and remote terrain
They are physically and mentally capable of undertaking the trip
They accept the potential risks, including injury, accidents, property loss, or death
Guests acknowledge that:
Pre-existing medical conditions may worsen during the trip
Spiti Adventure is not liable for injury, illness, or death resulting from participation
Guests hold full responsibility for the authenticity of any medical documents provided
Guests agree to bear all related costs arising from health issues or incidents during the journey.
