    1. Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar

      When you reach the Srinagar airport, Spiti Adventure team member will be there to guide you further. We will take you to the Srinagar Hotel. After having lunch you can enjoy the Shikara ride on Dal Lake. The trip is incomplete without shopping, so you can shop from the Srinagar market and stay overnight at Srinagar.

    2. Day 2 Srinagar - Drass - Kargil (198 kms/ 8 Hrs)

      Morning after breakfast we will leave for Kargil. On the way, we will visit places like  Sonmarg, Drass – the coldest inhabited place in India which is also known as Gateway to Ladakh through the Zoji La Pass. You will also get a chance to see the War Memorial Hall and Museum also named as Vijaypath. This Memorial was built by the Indian Army in remembrance of the soldiers and army officers who rest their life in the Kargil War. Check-in at the Hotel and stay overnight. 

    3. Day 3 Kargil - Lamayuru - Leh (216 kms/ 8 - 9 Hrs)

      After breakfast, we will move towards the Leh. Enroute, we will visit the  Lamayuru Monastery. Lamayuru is famous for its dazzling landscapes that look like the moon. Then, visit Magnetic Hill, the Holy place Pathar Sahib Gurudwara built in loving memory of the founder of Sikh Religion and the first Guru – Guru  Nanak Dev Ji. As we continue our expedition to Leh, we can go to see the Hall of Fame Museum built by the Indian Army in remembrance of the brave Indian soldiers who fought for the motherland in the Indo-Pak wars. We will reach Leh in the evening, check in to the hotel and stay overnight there. 

    4. Day 4 Leh Sightseeing

      Today we advise you to take proper rest for the whole day to adjust with the new climate and surroundings. After lunch, we can visit the nearby places in Leh town including the Leh Palace also known as ”Lachen Palkhar”, Shanti Stupa which is situated at the top of the hill near Changspa. When you reach the hilltop you will witness the most stunning views of the Leh town and at last visit to Leh Bazaar where you can shop the local products of Ladakh. Stay overnight at Leh. 

    5. Day 5 Leh - khardungla pass - Nubra Valley (120 kms/ 4-5 Hrs)

      After breakfast starts moving towards the Nubra Valley through the Khardungla Pass which is at a  height of 18,380 feet and is one of the highest motorable roads in the entire world. You reach the Valley in the afternoon. Post lunch, you can go for the Camel Safari at the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village and enjoy the spectacular views of the scenery all around. Then,  stay overnight at Nubra Valley. 

    6. Day 6 Nubra Valley - To Pangong Via Shayok Route (220 kms/ 8 Hrs)

      Morning after breakfast, spend some time in the Deskit Monastery (Big Buddha) and explore the most remarkable views of the Nubra Valley and then travel to Pangong Lake which is 14,500 ft, via  Shyok River. Then, get back to the Lake, You will get an opportunity to camp near Pangong lake. Enjoy the sunset and the changing colour of the lake. Stay overnight at the camp in Pangong

    7. Day 7 Pangong - Leh Via Changla (220 kms/ 8 Hrs)

      Wake up early so you will get a chance to see the mesmerizing sunrise on the lake. After having breakfast proceed to  Leh and on the way visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. In the evening get back to Leh and stay overnight at the hotel. 

    8. Day 8 Leh - Sarchu (340 kms/ 9 Hrs)

      Today we will drive to the Sarchu which passes through Tanglang La, Moore Plains, Pang, Gata Loops (Total 21), Nakeela and Lachlung La. In the evening we will reach Sarchu and stay overnight at a hotel or camp.  

    9. Day 9 Sarchu - Manali (210 kms/ 8 Hrs)

      After breakfast, we travel to the admirable destination, Manali through the Baralacha La (4845 m). In the afternoon, lunch at Sissu village and cross over the Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft). Then, get there in  Manali (arriving Manali depends on the traffic). The ultimate tour of Srinagar to Leh To Manali with Spiti Adventure ends here.

    We can reach Ladakh by the following three ways- 

    • The best way to travel by taking a flight. Leh Airport is well associated with the major cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar and many more urban cities of India.  
    • In case you are planning to travel by road then there are two routes to reach Ladakh. One is from  Srinagar and another one is from Manali. 
    • Travelling from Manali will lead you to cover a distance of 474 kms to Leh by way of Keylong along with a night drop-off. 
    • Travelling from Srinagar to Leh will make you cross Sonamarg, Drass, Kargil, Mulbekh and  Lamayuru and cover a distance of 434 kms. The roads are open from June to October. 

    It is very essential to bring the medicines as prescribed by your doctor. You have to face chilly weather so bring warm clothes, inners and caps. Also, your gadgets carry your own charger or camera batteries.

    It is strongly recommended to adopt and acclimatize yourself before indulging in any physical activities.  

     

     No, we don’t allow you to consume alcohols during the journey.

    There are many delicious cuisines including Veg and Non-Veg 

    Some of them are:  

    • Vegetarian – Tsap Thuk, Thupka, Lotus Root, Thud, Sku
    • Non-vegetarian – Stew, Momos, Tabak Naat, Gushtaba, Tigmo. 

    You should know while travelling that only postpaid sims work in Leh Ladakh. For good connectivity, there is BSNL, Airtel and Jio

    Yes, Credit Cards work in hotels and restaurants and also few shops accept in Ladakh but it is recommended to bring cash with you.  

    Yes, Ladakh is situated at a high altitude where the weather extreme cold. In Sarchu and  Khardungla you will feel even more colder. So, wear warmers inside or carry extra essential things to keep yourself warm. 

    It takes 5 to 12 days to visit the major destinations in Ladakh. If you wanted to trek, camp or spend more time in Ladakh you can stay a little longer.  

    Leh is located at a height of 3,500 meters. There are possibilities of heavy rainfall and hail storms but there is not much rain during these months. You might face rain on the way from  Manali to Keylong

    Yes, it is very important for you to bring a driving license to have a motorbike ride.
