We can reach Ladakh by the following three ways-
- The best way to travel by taking a flight. Leh Airport is well associated with the major cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar and many more urban cities of India.
- In case you are planning to travel by road then there are two routes to reach Ladakh. One is from Srinagar and another one is from Manali.
- Travelling from Manali will lead you to cover a distance of 474 kms to Leh by way of Keylong along with a night drop-off.
- Travelling from Srinagar to Leh will make you cross Sonamarg, Drass, Kargil, Mulbekh and Lamayuru and cover a distance of 434 kms. The roads are open from June to October.
It is very essential to bring the medicines as prescribed by your doctor. You have to face chilly weather so bring warm clothes, inners and caps. Also, your gadgets carry your own charger or camera batteries.
It is strongly recommended to adopt and acclimatize yourself before indulging in any physical activities.
