Leh Ladakh tour via Srinagar

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, a Spiti Adventure team member will meet and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After lunch, enjoy a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake, soaking in the stunning reflections of the surrounding mountains and houseboats. No trip to Srinagar is complete without a visit to the local markets, where you can shop for Kashmiri handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and souvenirs.

Spend the evening relaxing and stay overnight in Srinagar, preparing for the journey ahead.

Morning after breakfast we will leave for Kargil. On the way, we will visit places like  Sonmarg, Drass - the coldest inhabited place in India which is also known as Gateway to Ladakh through the Zoji La Pass. You will also get a chance to see the War Memorial Hall and Museum also named as Vijaypath. This Memorial was built by the Indian Army in remembrance of the soldiers and army officers who rest their life in the Kargil War. 

In the evening, we reach Kargil, check in, and stay overnight, preparing for the journey deeper into the Himalayas.

After breakfast, we begin our journey towards Leh, covering 216 km through stunning Himalayan landscapes. En route, we visit the Lamayuru Monastery, renowned for its dramatic setting amidst moon-like landscapes and ancient Buddhist heritage. Next, we stop at Magnetic Hill, a natural phenomenon that seemingly defies gravity.We also visit the Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, a sacred site built in loving memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.

As we continue towards Leh, we stop at the Hall of Fame Museum, established by the Indian Army to honor the bravery and sacrifices of soldiers in the Indo-Pak wars. By evening, we reach Leh, check in, and stay overnight, resting for the adventures ahead.

Today, we recommend a relaxing day to acclimatize to Leh’s high-altitude climate and surroundings. 

Today we advise you to take proper rest for the whole day to adjust with the new climate and surroundings. After lunch, we can visit the nearby places in Leh town including the Leh Palace also known as "Lachen Palkhar", Shanti Stupa which is situated at the top of the hill near Changspa. When you reach the hilltop you will witness the most stunning views of the Leh town and at last visit to Leh Bazaar where you can shop the local products of Ladakh.

After breakfast, we begin our journey towards Nubra Valley, crossing the iconic Khardung La Pass at an altitude of 18,380 feet, one of the highest motorable roads in the world.Arriving in Nubra Valley by afternoon, enjoy lunch and then head out for an exciting camel safari on the sand dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village, surrounded by the valley’s breathtaking landscapes.

Spend the evening relaxing and stay overnight in Nubra Valley, soaking in the serene mountain atmosphere.

After breakfast, visit the Deskit Monastery, home to the impressive Big Buddha statue, and take in the stunning vistas of Nubra Valley. We then embark on a scenic drive to Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) via the Shyok River route, witnessing breathtaking landscapes along the way.

Arriving at Pangong Lake, enjoy a unique camping experience beside the serene waters. Watch the sunset and the lake’s changing colors, creating unforgettable memories. Spend the night under the starry skies at the camp near Pangong Lake, immersing yourself in the tranquil beauty of this Himalayan gem.

Wake up early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over Pangong Lake, a truly magical experience. After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Leh, crossing the scenic Chang La Pass. En route, visit the Thiksey Monastery, a beautiful multi-tiered monastery offering panoramic views of the surrounding valley, and Shey Palace, the historic summer palace of Ladakhi kings.

By evening, we arrive in Leh, where you can relax and stay overnight, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the trip.

After breakfast, we begin our scenic drive from Leh to Sarchu, covering 270 km through some of the most breathtaking landscapes of the Ladakh region. On the way, we will cross: Tanglang La Pass, Moore Plains, Pang, Gata Loops, Nakeela and Lachulung La Passes - offering spectacular mountain view

By evening, we reach Sarchu, where you can stay overnight at a comfortable hotel or camp, soaking in the serene high-altitude environment and preparing for the next leg of the journey.

After breakfast, we start our journey from Sarchu to Manali, traveling through the majestic Baralacha La Pass (4,845 m), offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. On the way, we stop for lunch at Sissu Village, and continue the drive crossing the iconic Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft), experiencing the stunning high-altitude landscapes of Himachal Pradesh.

By late afternoon or evening (depending on traffic), we arrive in Manali, concluding your Srinagar - Leh - Manali Himalayan adventure with Spiti Adventure, a journey filled with unforgettable sights, culture, and experiences.
