The Brahmatal trek is one of the most sought after treks that people across the world participate in. And that is not without reason. Up-close views of the staggering mountains of the Himalayas, the ground blanketed in thick layers of white pristine snow, vibrant and beautiful rhododendrons along the way are just some of the many stunning things you will encounter on this trek. Imagine this – you are walking through a rhododendron forest that suddenly opens up to a view of the glittering peaks of Mount Trishul and Mount Nanda Ghunti! It is just like entering one magical dimension from another, the scene changing so drastically.
The specialty of this trek is that it’s one of those very few Himalayan treks that are accessible during the peak winter months and is also perfectly suitable for beginners or even first-time trekkers. Quite a few people take the Brahmatal trek in January for the unmatched views of the snow-capped mountain ranges. It is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that you will forever cherish. The trek will also cover the beautiful Bekaltal Lake and upon reaching the top, you will behold the majestic peaks of Mount Hathighoda and Mount Neelkanth. A perfect blend of steep and gradual slopes paves the way to Brahmatal peak.
